[Magictour] various points arising

This is my first try to mail to the mailing list, so I hope it works OK.

Personally I suspect that searching for 8x10 magic tours and higher is =
likely to be a futile exercise. I'm close to a proof of impossibility of =
magic tours on 4m x 4n+2 boards, there just seems to be one little step =
missing -- but I could be wrong of course.

I've put the 00n tour and its four arithmetical forms on the KTN =
website, with Mackay, Meyrignac and Stertenbrink credited as joint =
finders. It is not customary to give separate acknowledgements for =
finding the cyclic or reversed arithmetical forms. So I don't claim any =
credit for the 6 3 63 ... version.

I hope I have all the spellings and other details correct.

Most of the messages coming through are a bit technical for me, but I'll =
hang in for a while to see if I can make sense of some of it.
