Ed Pegg, (second most famous US- puzzlist, after Martin Gardner ?)
Mario Vellucci, (most ? famous chess-puzzlist)

you mean, you can easily change your actual program for similar problems ?

where can we get some good information about what is actually known ?
Preferrably a good online survey , quick to read.
Something like Jelliss' "General Theory of Magic Knight's Tours" ,
which can be recommended ? I checked Jelliss' other pages,
seems that there is nothing about magic leaper tours or
tours on a torus, or 3d-tours etc.

I'd like magic knight tours on a torus. JC, it should be easy
to change your program for that.
Can we expect some additional SMKTs on a torus ?

Earlier I proposed to consider magic sums in torus-knight-directions,
but that's apparantly the same as magic Wezir torus tours if we assign
the board:

a1,b3,c5,d7,e1,f3,g5,h7
c2,d4,e6,f8,g2,h4,a6,b8
e3,f5,g7,h1,a3,b5,c7,d1
g4,h6,a8,b2,c4,d6,e8,f2
a5,b7,c1,d3,e5,f7,g1,h3
c6,d8,e2,f4,g6,h8,a2,b4
e7,f1,g3,h5,a7,b1,c3,d5
g8,h2,a4,b6,c8,d2,e4,f6

so, are the semimagic Wezir tours on a torus known ?
Similarly Wazir torus tours with constant sums in knight-directions
should be dual to torus SMKTs
