I think I would trust info. from shortwave HAM operators as they would be reporting on happenings in thier local area and have always done so as a means of reliable, good faith sharing of information. The internet may act as an updated version of shortwave, but the numbers of people on the system would make sorting out useful info. more difficult.

Trust yourself, because in the end that’s all you got.
I am a ham operator, and quite frankly, most of them just like to hear themselves talk, about you guessed it “Themselves”
That’s sad, but I am an Extra and have had my license since I was 14.
The internet and this forum in particular is where I will be looking.

As long as the web is up, I plan to be here; for moral support, if nothing else. Do love CNN too….

aren’t some US-news maybe manipulated and commercialized ? (which ?)
what about EU-news, Japan news, Canada-news ? Should we expect them being
more honest and objective and informative ?
