The Flu is Not The Flu

Reasons:

• high speed spread depends on lots of travel, not just the flu
• disruption depends on just-in-time + food grows away from home + (more or less apropriate) fear through tv + etc, not just the biological features of the flu virus
• new flu is not like old flu
• it’s a chance to tell people about three flues?

Something about how foolish it is to repair your car’s breaks just when a child crosses the street?

OK, how ‘bout we make this the thread for all the OTHER fluwiki stuff we’d like to have?

• bracelets/elastic wristbands
• coffee mugs
• hats?
• other ideas?

Who would like what?

I like the wristband (like one of those coloured rubber ones that’s really trendy right now) and the mug idea the best.

If it goes H2H pandemic, No one is going to be able to read mine. I think it should be about preparing before it happens.
