How much does Jessie weigh now?

And how much energy does it really take to press the shutter release on your camera . . .

Jessie has a lot of proud aunts and uncles. I enjoy dogs, I think most of the wikians do. My own really wonderful shepherd was very prudent when he came home. He did his best to crawl under a sofa, and he was one big pup. I think a prudent dog is a thinking dog.

sorry, haven’t found my camera yet. Have a few other priorities, like getting licked all over. Plus its getting dark, and they’re tired from all the excitement.

She was 9kg 2 weeks ago, don’t know how much now, probably going on 12 or 13kg.

I’m writing in the kitchen with one dog on either side of me. Jessie’s decided that she likes Sam (my westie)’s bed, which is kinda small. But every now and then she wants to go back in her cage. She hasn’t figured out that the huge basket with the fluffy stuff is HER bed yet, cos unfortunately, the piece of bedding from the breeder which smells of her old home got soiled on the way.

Meanwhile, on the subject of smells, my keyboard definitely smells of tripe.

Let her use the Westies bed until the bedding gets her own odor, then transfer that to the larger bed and meanwhile have the westie have a new bit of bedding. Odors are so important for a dog. Yesterday at a lecture a young very large male, the equivilant of a human mstiff, (hands feet head large large) sat next to me, or should I say squeezed himself into a normal sized spot and little by little made more room for himsel. I moved a little, the chair ahead of him was shoved away a little. It had been a hot day, and I definatly got a strong whiff of Americanus male. Not bad, but a dog would have gone into raptures. I don’t know why but I thought of you and Jessie. Incidently Gordon Chang is a good speaker, did most of his research at our library. I asked about Bioterror weaponry. His answer, the North Koreans have anything you could want for killing people. He smiled. Good luck with Jessie, Nothing like a dog.

Lily, I put Sam’s bedding in the big plastic basket that is supposed to be Jessie’s, so that she can get used to it. Sam has no problem using anyone’s bedding, as long as it’s soft and comfy.

I thought I should close this thread and use a different title seeing that I did get the pup! Yes I did get a mastiff
