In the interest’s of being prepared, and generally upping the community pressure on those in office to not forget us, I wondered if any of us knew the symptoms to look out for in a case of Bird Flu?

Would they be similiar to the normal flu?

There was a thread on here a while ago saying that 4/5 doctor’s(or something ridiculous) couldn’t pick it up. (Mind you, I don’t even pick it up when I’m sick…)

Anyway, not to criticise, but how does the bird flu get picked up in these countries where we are finding there are missed cases? It would seem obvious that cases are going to be missed if the flu itself is easily missed!

Here is something to see how easily something like this, the flu, can be missed. It can only be informative.

I would like to have one of these that goes further and once you have decided that you have “the flu” it helps you try to distinguish between run of the mill seasonal flu and the serious lung rot H5N1-related flu.
