Forum: Ask Questions of the Moderators Here XII

11 September 2006

Bronco Bill – at 17:00

Continued from here.

For (almost) any type of questions you may want to ask of the Mods…regarding FluWIki, of course.

pogge – at 17:05

Who was that masked man?

Bronco Bill – at 17:07

Now that wasn’t exactly the kind of question I expected… ;-) But, I think it might have been the Lone Arranger…

Science Teacher – at 18:22

The Lone Arranger

ROTFL! : )

pogge – at 18:44

Did he leave us a Silver Pullet?

(You have my permission to groan. I don’t usually stoop that low.)

pogge – at 19:52

I gather it was such a bad joke it scared everyone out of the thread.

Mari – at 19:54

pogge - what besides bad links causes side-scrolling? I’m having trouble with one of the recipe pages when I add additional recipes to it (I haven’t posted the bad page, just previewed it).

janetn – at 19:57

Now thats funny

Bronco Bill – at 19:57

Oh okay…if it’ll make ya feel better

GROOOAN

Bronco Bill – at 19:57

oops again!

Bronco Bill – at 19:58

Now it’s your turn! :-(

pogge – at 19:58

Mari at 19:54

It isn’t specifically bad links, it’s a string of characters with no spaces that’s long enough to push the right margin out beyond the edge of your screen.

There’s also a bit of PmWiki markup that can backfire on you. If you put one or more spaces at the beginning of a line — before any characters — PmWiki thinks you’re entering pre-formatted code and disables wordwrap, so an entire paragraph will appear on one line and cause sidescroll. The clue is that the font size is usually a bit smaller as well.

Does that help?

pogge – at 20:16

Additional to Mari:

If worse comes to worse, save it with the sidescroll, post a link here and I’ll have a look at it. I can usually find the problem eventually.

Bronco Bill – at 20:35

Thanks pogge :-)

Mari – at 20:43

pogge - Yep, it was one of those pesky little spaces at the start of a line. Thanks. I’ll watch out for that.

FrenchieGirl asked for the tinyurls in the previous thread. Here is a list of the tinyurls used in the fluwiki forum until a few weeks ago:
http://magictour.free.fr/tiny1

anonymous – at 03:36

someone should access all these webpages linked to at fluwikie - not only those from Tinyurl , not only from the forum - and store the result, so it will be available for offline-reading, when the web goes down or when the URL changes or when some webpage is abandonned or changes. When someone wants to run it, I might provide a batch-file for “wget”. 5000 different URLs from the Tinyurl-links alone.

anonymous – at 05:11

pogge, is it OK to download the whole wiki with wget and store it at singohmuse ? It seems to me, that you built in some barrier to block it. If you are afraid, that someone could build a mirror we could encrypt it and provide the key only, when panflu starts. But the fluwiki-knowledge should remain available, IMO. I’m also always afraid that your server or your HD crashes and all the work might be gone.

pogge – at 08:13

pogge, is it OK to download the whole wiki with wget

For the moment, no. From the wget documentation:

“You should be warned that recursive downloads can overload the remote servers. Because of that, many administrators frown upon them and may ban access from your site if they detect very fast downloads of big amounts of content.”

I’ll investigate when I get a chance.

I back up every evening and regularly write the data to CD.

FrenchieGirlat 08:47

anonymous – at 02:33 - FrenchieGirl asked for the tinyurls in the previous thread. Here is a list of the tinyurls used in the fluwiki forum until a few weeks ago: http://magictour.free.fr/tiny1

So many great thanks Anonymous, I was just moments ago about to start a page and painstakingly search/sort/collate them. You’ve done most of the work for me. Yeepeee!

Hope to be able to make a nice list with them for the Wiki Main, plus subjects concerned! Gimme a little time, this afternoon I do have to show my boss I’m working some ;-)

anonymous – at 09:01

pogge, I would do it at US-night times, when there is little traffic.

pogge – at 09:14

Noted. But you can still bring the server down with software like that. No action on this until further notice, please.

Edna Mode – at 10:13

pogge – at 08:13 I back up every evening and regularly write the data to CD.

I’m glad to hear that you do this. I assumed you did, but recent comments in some of the threads got me to thinking. The comments are along the lines of TPTB, post-pandemic, saying, “Who could have known?” For posterity and historical accounts, I hope you keep every stinking post ever made to this wiki. Not to be too grandiose about it, but this collective is making history as a repository of day-to-day news interpreations, tracking, etc. It will be very instructive at some later date in time. Take good care of those backups and CDs.

pogge – at 10:19

I have copies of all the threads, including those that didn’t make it to this server and those that were recently “archived” to improve performance.

And to answer the question I’ll bet is coming from somewhere, no I can’t distribute copies of the backups as they stand. Access to the files with a text editor would provide you with the IP addresses of everyone who’s ever posted to either the wiki or the forum. Serious privacy violation.

Mod needed – at 23:02

I think the “Where Are We All From” thread could use some moderation. thanks.

13 September 2006

More Mods needed – at 00:13

Canadian mafia beatdown going on in the Canadian Preppers 2 thread.

lugon – at 05:29

pogge, re IP addresses - a simple (for gurus it’s simple) script, maybe using awk or python, would do the trick of removing them or replacing them with “IP:IP:IP:IP”. How heavy (in bytes) are the files as of now (just a guestimate will do)?

I have some pmwiki raw files at home - I can ask for help about the script and report back if that’s useful.

Urgent – at 09:35

pogge, I just sent you an urgent email.

Nightowl

pogge – at 14:02

I’m away from home and can’t access that email account until this evening. You could try Dem or anon_22. Click on About Flu Wiki at the top of the sidebar. The names in the submenu that opens up are email links.

Jane – at 16:02

Please would a mod fix the sidescroll in the Flu Prep XX thread? There’s a really long link there. Thanks!

Nightowl – at 16:03

Thanks pogge.

Nightowl – at 21:01

Dem, Thank you so much. There should be a thread called “The Flu Wiki Corner.” I would be the first one to have to go stand in it!

14 September 2006

Mari – at 13:20

Moderators/pogge - Heads up in case you didn’t know - the main wiki has gotten very slow. I hope the cookbook (it’s gotten pretty big) isn’t causing problems.

Bronco Bill – at 13:36

I just noticed the same thing--- FluWikie.com dogging down…

pogge – at 14:04

It’s traffic. I’ve checked the Site Meter and there are a ton of referrals from the link in the article just published on Slate. I’ve also heard that another site was crashed because of a link in that article so we’re not alone.

Tom DVM – at 14:05

pogge. Good time to take out Belgium.

Bronco Bill – at 14:07

Tom DVM – at 14:05 --- LOL!!!

Bronco Bill – at 14:09

pogge – at 14:04 --- In a way, that’s a good thing. We can see how the Wiki handles a spike, and make any necessary adjustments now instead of in the middle of a real crisis.

Good to know folks pay attention to Slate…

I’m-workin’-on-it – at 14:13

Hey ya’ll check your POBox — wanna make sure the $$ arrived undisturbed.

beehiver – at 22:35

I’d like to make a report from a pandemic planning meeting I attended today, and maybe another report a few days down the road. Would it be best to start a new thread for each report, or would you like me to open a thread called something like “Conference and Meeting Reports”? Thanks!

Bronco Bill – at 23:24

pogge or DemFromCT would have a better feel for this, but my thinking would be a seperate thread for each report, with unique titles. That way, we don’t get the various meetings mixed up throughout the comments posted after each of your original posts.

DemFromCTat 23:38

I think one thread to start… we can split and start a new one of needed.

No content lost. The original of that thread is safely in my archives.

Monotreme – at 17:39

pogge, could you restore the content? I’d like to index it in the forum organization page.

Thanks

pogge – at 17:48

Thread restored.

Maybe I should clarify my previous comment. In the forum, spam never overwrites what was previously in a thread. It only adds to what was already there. That’s because the kind of edit access that would be required to delete content in a forum thread is password protected.

Dr Dave – at 17:49

Bronco Bill,

Am in interested in hearing about nutrition. Specifically, if we are all stocking up heavily on grains, legumes, and such, what would it take to create a vegetarian or vegan survival diet that provides all essential amino acids? We already have multi-vitamins and a whey-based protein supplement, but can anyone advise on important food combinations? Thanks.

Monotreme – at 17:52

Thanks very much pogge!

Dr Dave – at 18:26

Bronco Bill:

Recently, the wikie reported 2,500,000 sick pigs (1,000,000 porcine deaths) in China and followed that up with a report of Hormel’s new pork purchase deal in China. So, what is the risk of eating canned products that contain pork? How soon until Chinese pork is shipped to Hormel? How long until Hormel can process the pork and distribute it to grocers? What can Spam lovers do to assure the safety of their food? Are there other food processors who might be buying from questionable sources?

Edna Mode – at 18:55

I got an error every time I tried to use the link, but it worked when I typed the URL directly into my browser address field. Try that.

Bronco Bill – at 19:24

I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that I have absolutely no idea. The Chinese haven’t consulted with me about shipping dates, and Hormel doesn’t consult with me regarding how long their canning process takes.

Trolling ?!?

Since I’ve been a BIG purchaser of the Hormel dinners, I wrote them a scathing letter telling them that I wasn’t purchasing again — after my 60+ are gone, that’s it! They wrote back a “thanks for writing, we’ve forwarded your message to the proper people” (whom I figure are the trash guys)!

The other thing to worry about is that the US is now shipping our poultry overseas to be processed, then it’s shipped back here. Go figure. How on earth that can be cost effective is beyond me, but they’re doing it….or are going to….I can’t remember if it’s already started or what. We’ve gone totally insane!!

anonymous – at 01:34

when people are starting to become sick from some food especially from imported food from China , then we will hear about it. I’m sure, there are controlls and the Chinese are least likely to export contaminated meat, because they know the loss from public hysteria would be much larger than a temporary increase in exports. Also the probability that you would happen to be among those first who become sick before the problem is made public is very small. I see no reason to change your eating habits at the moment.

Would you dear folks mind setting up an easy to locate space (like on the home page) where we can stash our writing samples for letters to the editor, flyers, pamphlets, etc. They show up here and there in different threads, but the wiki forum is getting so crammed, that it’s really hard to find them.

If you dont want to do a separate link for them, maybe we could put them in the How To section, I suppose….

Thanks.

Seconds, thirds and fourths on what WIT and HBB said—best wishes, Melanie, and hope you are back here soon!

Melanie – at 11:07

WIT and all others,

I have been very sick for well over a month and can’t get in to see a doctor until I get insurance issues resolved later next week. I’m feeling better but still extremely debilitated after having been confined to bed for literally weeks. I’m getting a little stronger every day but even the most mundane household tasks leaving me shaking and in need of rest. This is as sick as I have ever been and going through it without health insurance has been an absolute horror.

Many Cats – at 11:43

Melanie! Glad to hear you are back! This is not meant to sound flippant or otherwise annoying, but perhaps when you have more strength, you might consider writing about anything you have experienced as a result of long-term debilitation that might be useful for us in a pandemic scenario (things you wish you had had during this time to make your life easier, what you would want to change in case such problems arise when the power or water go out, etc.) Someone else had done a similar thing awhile ago, but the more perspectives in this case, the better. Besides, it will keep your mind occupied during those times when you are in bed… :) Get Better Fast! :) :) :)

banshee – at 11:48

Melanie – at 11:07, Hang in there! Hope you feel better soon.

Orlandopreppie – at 13:52

Probably old news, but I checked here and didn’t find a notice. It seems you guys have been hit by a porn virus on the Flu News and Resources page. I didn’t see anything here about it. It was fine last night when I checked in.

Orlandopreppie – at 14:13

Watching in Texas – at 15:26

Melanie - so glad to hear from you, but so very sorry to hear about how the insurance trouble. My husband is self-employed and insurance nightmares are something we’ve, unfortunately, had a lot of experience with. My all time favorite was when our insurance went from $600 a month to $1,940 a month in less than a year. Like anybody could pay that!! Just take it easy, I hope you get into a doctor’s office soon. I’ll keep praying for your continued recovery. We’ll try not to start the pandemic until you are fully recovered;-) Keep us posted. You are very much missed around the forum!

WIT

bgw in MT – at 16:09

Melanie, we do miss you very much. You wore yourself out there for several weeks and I think that lowers your immunity. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest so you can recuperate completely.

CAMikeat 16:15

Melanie, take care and know that we are wishing you the best at this moment. You will be in my prayers.

Many of us have had personal experiences with the way health insurance is handled (or not) in the U.S. In my experience you have to go on the attack to get what you deserve. Unfortunately, I think the insurance companies count on that and expect that most people will give up before getting what they are due.

Hang in there and get better. We need you here.

For the past one or two days, I have been having a heck of a time getting on or staying on flu wiki…I assume having Bronco Bill away might have something to do with it…anyway thought I do have slow dial up internet and thought I would let you know.

The cytokinin disregulation thread is quite long and it might be causing some of the problem.

Melanie…all the best…I know you are a fighter…you may be down for the moment…but will never be out.

Question: How long does the virus live - on surfaces, on bodys, in the air thankyou for your answers

Dr Dave – at 17:01

I have written a 15 page document that I give to friends, neighbors, and colleagues in my quest for AI awareness. It is entitled “Becoming Self-Sufficient for Six Months”. Does any one of you moderators want to look at it and see if it is worth posting? If so, please give me an e-mail address. I can send it as both a Word document and an Adobe .pdf file.

Dr Dave – at 17:11

Melanie,

Thanks for the links, but I did not ask for myself. I am concerned that many preppers may not be aware of what their own bodies need for good nutrition. In light of the possible shortages of fresh foods, living well off of one’s emergency supplies poses certain challenges. Maybe a discussion forum on this subject would be useful.

Mosaic – at 17:23

Right now with a small cluster or two in Indonesia, or ?, this place is slow as molasses.

We have heard several times in the past that the FW forum will be improved with respect to speed and registration, and perhaps other perks. Has any further progress been made now that FW has non-profit status? There must be things happening behind the scenes that we dont know about. Can you tell us? What is the current estimate for the promised improvements?

Tom DVM – at 17:43

Ken From La I am not a moderator and I do not have an absolute answer for you…but you can assume that it lives in the environment long enough that you can get it from passive contact…

…you have picked up on a key issue, as we have to get redesigned public washrooms because it makes no sense to wash your hands and then grab a contaminated door handle to open a door…

…the same for escalator handles…how hard would it be to treat these surfaces with automatic disenfection…in a pandemic you will have to or should wear an N95 masks and dress leather or some other type of gloves…

…if you have kids it is going to be very difficult to get them not to touch eye, nose or mouth with their hands…for them total ‘staying in place’ would be best…but I fear pretty much impossible…

…hope that helps.

pogge – at 17:48

Dr. Dave, I’m sure they’d like to have it available for folks like me that would love to see it, and they’ll tell you that you can put it somewhere yourself, but I don’t know how to do that, and you might not know either so be sure to ask directions on how to include it and where they’d like it put so it will be seen! Have you ‘played in the sandbox’ to practice how to post stuff & all that? I’ve only done it once, but you might do so now just to get used to it — you’ll probably learn it exponentionally, while I just get terrified of doing stuff like that!

anonymous – at 17:49

Tom DVM I need to find a link for you but there was just an article about a new escalator (at O’Hare Airport?) That continously cleans the handrails as they come around.

Washroom doors are indeed a bother. That is why I always carry hand sanitizer with me.

All best. : )

Tom DVM – at 17:52

Ken from LA – at 16:59 How long does the virus live From CIDRAP info:

“Physical characteristics of influenza A viruses Viruses remain infectious after 24 to 48 hours on nonporous environmental surfaces and less than 12 hours on porous surfaces (see References: Bean 1982). (Note: The importance of fomites in disease transmission has not been determined.) Influenza A viruses can persist for extended periods of time in water (see References: WHO: Review of latest available evidence on risks to human health through potential transmission of avian influenza [H5N1] through water and sewage). One study of subtype H3N6 found that virus resuspended in Mississippi River water was detected for up to 32 days at 4°C and was undetectable after 4 days at 22°C (see References: Webster 1978). Another study found that several avian influenza viruses persisted in distilled water for 207 days at 17°C and 102 days at 28°C (see References: Stallknecht 1990). Recent data from studies of H5N1 in domestic ducks have shown that H5N1 can survive in the environment for 6 days at 37ºC (see References: WHO: Laboratory study of H5N1 viruses in domestic ducks). Inactivation of the virus occurs under the following conditions (see References: OIE 2002, PHS): temperatures of 56ºC for 3 hours or 60ºC or more for 30 minutes; acidic pH conditions; presence of oxidizing agents such as sodium dodecyl sulfate, lipid solvents, and B-propiolactone; and exposure to disinfectants such as formalin and iodine compounds. “

Thankyou DennisC. In the Ventura County Star, Osterholm is quoted “Even the dead will be contagious” , “Corpse management, the handling of the dead and how we grieve will be very important”. I am curious as to how long will the virus live in a dead body? A long time ago in a news article I believe Webster said that it could live 10 days in and adult after death and 25 days in a child. The reason I ask is after the flu has burned its way thru a city or neighborhood and we emerge from SIP what should be be careful to avoid, where will it still be hiding?

>wistful sigh!< men who do ‘ruthless housecleaning’ . . .

;-)

Dr Dave at 17:01 on Becoming Self-Sufficient for 6 Months. Sure would like to see you sum up the problem. Are you going to post it on fluwiki? Tell us when. (And one can only hope you have included a thought or two on ‘ruthless housecleaning’ . . . ;-)

DennisCat 19:53

Ken from LA – at 19:41 I think its time in a dead body will depend mainly on its temperature. now assuming the LA in your handle is for Los Angeles (and not Los Alamos) then I would think that it will be around 10 days would be about right. (the virus survives well in “wet cool” environments).

with out getting graphic-Wrap bodies in sheet, spray with bleach, and attach ID/info.

Tom DVM – at 19:54

Hi Guys. You are having a really interesting chat but it probably shouldn’t be on this thread and no one will read it…maybe one of you could start a thread about this subject…Thanks.

Tom DVM – at 23:09

Hi Monotreme and DemFromCt. The speed is improved from earlier this evening but it is still intermittant.

It will go along for a few minutes and then all of a sudden seize-up and get caught inbetween threads…and then when I try to re enter the forum it won’t for four or five minutes and then everything repeats itself.

pogge – at 23:47

It will go along for a few minutes and then all of a sudden seize-up…

That happens when you get people posting to three or four threads all at the same time. If you watch the Last 50 Changes you’ll see that the posts tend to come in bursts rather than spread out evenly. If we could get everyone to post on a schedule we’d be all set. But that would be like herding cats.

Tom DVM – at 23:59

pogge. Thanks

“But that would be like herding cats.”

I don’t know much about herding humans but I do know a thing or two about herding cats…

…they love salmon and they have a special gene that makes them really like the smell of salmon from great cat distances…

you open that tin and you are like the pied piper.

DemFromCTat 00:28

good tips! Tuna works well for cats, too.

We’ll have to cull and archive some older threads before PFAW.

Melanie When you are feeling better you should think about moving to Canada!!! Free Health Care!!!! The beautiful rolling hills of Northumberland County - the ‘wellness county’ of Ontario! Proximity to Tom DVM and me!!! What could be better!? You would love it!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

crfullmoon – at 09:02

Can someone add Webster at the heading links at the top of the Science.OpinionAboutAFluPandemic page? I looked for him and he wasn’t there so I tried to add him - if I did something wrong, please edit, thanks.

side scroll alert – at 14:29

Side scroll on Sept 28th news thread.. thanks!

Lauralou – at 16:02

I’ve been clicking links in preparation for PFAW visitors.

On the Flu Wiki side when you click the “discuss” under Flu Wiki on the main page, it takes you to a link for the forum. The forum link takes you to the old (now gone) forum that was on that server- and if you read the message there it says the forum is “read-only”.

Has enough time passed that it could link to the active forum? (It does on already on Flu Wiki 2)

pogge – at 17:13

Fixed. We just missed that one. Thanks.

Edna Mode – at 09:02

Some of the links on the wiki side and in the forum messages take you outside of the wiki and some open in their own window (much more convenient as wiki doesn’t have to reload). Is there a trick for defining your links a certain way so that they open in their own window?

pogge – at 09:04

To have a link open in its own window, put the following immediately in front of the link but outside the double square brackets: %newwin%

Mosaic – at 11:19

Mosaic 17:23 sept 27: “We have heard several times in the past that the FW forum will be improved with respect to speed and registration, and perhaps other perks. Has any further progress been made now that FW has non-profit status? There must be things happening behind the scenes that we dont know about. Can you tell us? What is the current estimate for the promised improvements?”

I apologize if I missed a response to this. Thanks.

DemFromCTat 14:44

Everything takes time, but yes. We have processed the paperwork for non-profit but it’s not official (state of VA, takes a few weeks). We need to have a stable fund of income and then we can process the new software.

Also, some issues re PayPal vs other method of easy payment have not been resolved.

Never forgotten. Never ignored. In progress. My guess, is for 4–8 weeks, unless life happens.

silversage – at 16:38

Did the forum just hicup? It just took me 20 minutes to get in.

cactus – at 16:41
  yeah,silversage, me too.
anon_22 – at 18:59

Hi all, just want to check in and say I’m kinda going slow for a bit. I had an extremely hectic July August and September. Came home to a mountain of paperwork and no preps done for a couple months. Now I feel like I need to catch my breathe and figure out where I’m going. I’m lurking a lot and posting less, really because now I have a whole new set of questions that I can’t even verbalize what they are yet.

Like the virology stuff: I had a long discussion with JKT which was great at the time and now when I ask myself what I learnt, it is mostly what I don’t know. It doesn’t mean that what I thought I knew before was wrong, its more like in between shifting paradigms, where the old one is not quite right and the new one is not there yet. I tried to write about it but nothing seems to be coming out right, and I find myself deleting stuff that I’ve just written. So I’m thinking I should let it germinate for a bit. Or its cos my brains are fried and need a break or something.

In any case, thanks to everyone else who’s hanging in there. I’ll jump right back in when I have something sane to say.

:-)

Pixie – at 21:46

anon_22 at 18:59: It seems like a good time to take a stretch before the big game, doesn’t it? I keep thinking that watching this thing is like watching a pitcher in a baseball game repeatedly wind up his arm, over and over, as if he is about to unleash the ball, before he finally gives it the big “snap!” We’ll need you when the game is finally on, and we’ll need you in your best form, so get your respite while you can now. I have only posted recently here, but I am a forever-lurker here, and I do greatly appreciate your insights.

BTW, as you are a Brit, I understand, perhaps you may be more familiar than most here to the literary allusion of my “handle” - it comes via Enid Blyton. And speaking of literature, don’t forget to get caught up in a great book while you are hopefully relaxing, and readying yourself for the big game.

I’m-workin’-on-it – at 00:14

Wait….was it $50 or $25?? Heck, I can’t remember now. So much has happened since then with my cat dying & all, I just can’t remember anything except putting something in the mail to the PO Box shown here.

This point is so minor I shouldn’t mention it, BUT, I used the term RWFK on another thread. I thought I should check if it was listed in the fluwiki abbreviation list and it was, but it was not in alphabetical order. Since it is a term unique to fluwiki, I think people may look for that more than most other terms, so could someone who more talented move that term to the correct postion? Maybe including WWFK on the list would be a good idea also. Thanks.

I’m-workin’-on-it – at 23:47

Found it………RWFK: (Bronco Bill’s) Red Wine FLU Killer

Many Cats – at 01:02

If anyone goes to the shorthand page to move the RWFK acronym to the appropriate spot, I think the MD-DO abbreviation for which there is no definition is likely to be Medical Doctor - Doctor of Osteopathy.

crfullmoon – at 09:03

On the Main Wiki page, has the welcome Slate readers been up long enough, and could the Pandemic Awareness Week for this year page get the green billing instead, so new people don’t have to scroll down to see it, if they glance at the page?

The Awareness Week page, with the FAQ, is a pretty good place to start, if someone new doesn’t have time for a long explore of the idea of pandemic, nor the Wiki.

I’m-workin’-on-it – at 09:13

I never even knew whar/who Slate readers were

crfullmoon – at 10:50

(I heard of Slate, via National Public Radio, once in a while.)

Does the Flu Wiki need some money, or does it do better to spend it on Awareness cards, printing handouts for local essential workers who haven’t seen FluWiki nor pandemicflu.gov checklists, newspaper or billboard info, ect? Probably both, right?

(Bad habit of talking to myself - shouldn’t start to do it at the keyboard though…)

SPAM ALERT – at 12:51

 The slimeball tried to make them look like regular threads;

Fluprepxvi looks odd. Is it spam? It’s all links to “discount” drugs, ie nexium.

cactus – at 13:16
What in H E double hockey sticks is Creative Discounts doing?

Seems like the entire forum is soon going to be over taken by that creep.

Are all the mods off doing their own thing? Well, I guess they do have a life away from here.

 Haha, but, maybe they shouldn`t…Lol

I thought that pogge`s chain was shortened enough so he/she couldn`t get far. Must of been a breakout.

I’ve just come across a mention of handing out pandemic awareness cards. I must have missed that. This is something I would like to do. Can you tell me if there is a card made up I can make copies of? I tried searching, but I didn’t find what I was looking for. Thanks.

DemFromCTat 14:38

yes, there is… see red ribbon campaign.

Diane – at 14:57

I would like my last three posts on the Psychiatry thread deleted. I posted a charming video and had not looked at the surrounding ads which seem to be young lonely girls and other things not really appropriate to this wiki. Goes to show I will zero in on what interests me and not even notice what doesn’t.Will be careful to check out anything now. The internet baffles me.
