‘’’Survival Books’’’ I found a hardback book at Costco a week or so ago called ‘’Tom Brown’s Survival Guides’’ for only $9.99. This book includes the complete text of ‘’Tom Brown’s Field Guide: Wilderness Survival’’ and ‘’’Tom Brown’s Field Guide: City and Suburban [[ Survival’’’. Strangely enough, I can’t find this combined edition at Amazon.com. You can find a link to the separate titles at Amazon, so that you can see reviews and table of contents of each book:

Wilderness Survival

City and Suburban Survival

The City and Surburban Survival book includes how to prepare impromptu shelters for warmth inside a residence or office, making your clothing and shoes warmer, sealing off drafts, etc.

If you can find it at Costco, the book is a real bargain.

I hope these links don’t cause sidescroll. I tried to do it right, anyway.

I don’t know what I did wrong. Sorry! That’s one reason I put off posting this.

Last fall Costco had the book Camping and Wilderness Survival by Paul Tawrell. This is such a great book that I ended up getting one for each of my daughters’families. Each daughter and her husband were fascinated when they saw my copy. One daughter said this would be the ultimate book for a bug-out bag and the other thought it would be a great one for reading on the “throne”. I think it’s a wonderful book to have in the car to entertain and educate the whole family while traveling. I can’t begin to recommend this book highly enough. It is filled with zillions of colored pictures a covers every topic imaginable. I have a bad book addiction, and if I could only have ten books, this would be one of them.

Our Costco no longer carries it, but it is available at Walmart.com for the same price I paid, plus $.97 postage.

“Texas Rose – at 14:36

Huh?”

Camping and Wildeness Survival by Paul Tarwell is a separate book from the first. Is that what you didn’t understand? Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.

I should have said that Walmart.com ‘s shipping and handling charge for the book is $ .97. I believe this is what they charge for shipping and handling on all their books.

OK, I understand. The gremlins are busy again. LOL They follow me around, I think.

Now my posts are MIA, too.

Someone’s messing with my head, and that can’t be pretty.
