CSU gets more than $2 million to study bird flu CSU is in Fort Collins, CO. where I live. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/yy4g46 Summary: Researchers at Colorado State University have been awarded a $2.6 million grant from the Centers for Disease Control to study bird flu.

The researchers will study how avian flu could be transferred from birds to humans.

I know I saw CSU mentioned in the articles about LPAI a few weeks ago; they were doing much of the initial testing there and then sending the results on. Given their facilities, this makes a lot of sense. Good for them!

(Doug, I grew up in FC and the rest of my family is still there….I told my mother to watch for those BOGO sales at Sunflower, btw…thanks!)

No problem. With just a nice place like Fort Collins, why did you leave?

I was born here, went to local schools, CSU and now have my family here.
