Not save around kids either. Language is not Sunday appropriate.

other than that -

does make you wonder what those secret planning meetings look like…

(RBA, we do have a Humor thread around someplace, if you find another of these; might be less confusing for casual clickers.)

I had to go to a local hospital for sore back the other day. I asked the ER Doctor, if she had seen any influenza patients coming in yet…She said NO, and then grilled me for asking her such a question…I found her reaction strange to say the least. She said there is NO flu in USA yet..also strange answer.

Snowy tree- For her not to say there is no flu in the U.S. yet, is quiet distrubig. Either she is not kept up to date on the situation, or she is fibbing big time.

Maybe she meant “no panflu”? Poor ER doc…

We should feel very blessed to have a heads up on this.

That’s why I’m trying to encourage the folks here not to give up on the new forum. Those still here and resistant to the new place, has come to far to just walk away, letting frustraion beat them. I almost did, and I would have regretted it. Sure I could have went to other forums, but I don’t like ‘em. I like the wiki. So, I’m making an effort to see to it that I can stay.

Taking a few days break from H5N1. Think I have a new character in mind, so will spend a few days in another world. See how sparse the postings will be once I return to this place and time on the internet. It’s always refreshing to lose oneself in other realities. Probably why I can be detatched in regarding H5N1. Can brush it off, like mud off my shoes. Not interested in making an effort. We shouldn’t need to make an effort to get info. The new wiki can do without my input.

diana, I hope you will reconsider — the new site is faster — and we need all the voices and experiences out there — it’s amazing what insights get posted because someone overheard something or bumped into someone (one interesting thread was from a person who sat next to a virologist on a plane) — I hear you , I’m not too keen on relearning stuff to move ahead, but I do have some faith that there were good reasons to re configure.
