I copied/rescued this from a thread that’s otherwise total spam (create new topic). Jane
30 September 2006 Sara (in the U.K.) – at 20:19 IMHO, `war is a more likely cert than bird flu is… and that`s all the more reason to keep `prepping` Whether it be bird flu or war… all `services could be affected, shops closed or deliveries infrequent. Hopefully, therefore, just because we dont see a pandemic being imminent, people will STILL prep… prep… and MORE prep. In fact, when we think about it, and look at what has happened to people in other `conflict areas, war could end up being the MORE serious of the two scenarios, and the longest. Just my opinion.
“All Hazards” is the prudent way to prep.
Have a core set of supplies, and then add things that are event specific as you do a continuous threat assessment.
Glad to see I’m not the only one worried about Iran.
Bird Guano, Iran is just the tip of the iceberg… unfortunately there’s no shortage of nuts in the world who would all like to be in charge :-(
Agreed.
And they all seem to be gathering together in one alliance, which is what worries me.
I prep because I have had to stand in and drive through those FEMA lines. Everything about it sucked. All I was wanting was ice. I took the little food kits. Mostly out of curiosity. They sucked too.
war, emp blast, new madrid fault, peak oil, 2012 pole shift, ice storm, blizzard, hurricane, tornado, flood, 9/11…
