Continued from here.

Nightowl – at 14:43

Thanks pogge! CAPMom - I left a post for you on the old thread. May I add that you include your disc ribbon on this thread also - so we can see them all without having to go back and forth on the old thread? I am asking a lot, aren’t I, but it would be greatly appreciated.

Science Teacher – at 15:15

I just found this on the Homeland Security site. The month of September is National Preparedness month with lots of events planned across the country. There are links on the other side of the wiki on last year’s activities.

CAPmomat 15:30

Hi All! Was busy, this afternoon desiging a leaflet that I’d like to present to our County ESA office, the next time we meet. My sis-in-law & I are pulling it together and are using the ‘CAP’ in our log (Community-Awareness-Preparation). I’d like to include a ribbon with the leaflet, when I start to hand them out. Let me know if that will be ‘doable’. Oke- regarding the graphic. No problem. Will do, asap. I actually made up a sample ribbon, here at home and it was so easy. I used a 8″ strip of red craft ribbon. Then on the computer I filled a 8.5 x 11 sheet with ‘P’s and printed them on yellow scrapbooking cardstock. Then I punched out a circle around the ‘P’-- being careful to center the ‘P’. Then I just glued the yellow disk onto the center of the ribbon. Card stock can generally be bought at the craft stores for .10-.25 cents (depending on sales) If we are doing these ourselves … it’s cheap and easy. What were your thoughts, when talking of ‘thousands’? Unless I’m not understanding, I don’t think individuals would be making ‘thousands’, do you??

CAPmomat 16:50

Oke … let’s see if this works again …. Sample graphics, as requested:

Sample photo of finished ribbon:

CAPmomat 16:51

oooooo… MUCH BIGGER than I had expected! Soooo sorry! -k

Science Teacher – at 17:10

CAPmom. I tried to find your project on the other website, AFT, you referred to earlier that you said you were working with them on. Could you help by providing a direct link to your discussion on this? I, and I am sure others would like to learn more.

I am looking forward to your posting a picture of the ribbon, I thought we had approved here earlier on this thread. The one that has Gold initials P for Pandemic and A for Awareness with no center disk? I can’t thank you enough for saying you would post this!

I think your CAP project sounds great! We don’t have to use the same ribbon for both projects as we are different entities. Working parallel with different ideas will benefit many. I believe earlier that I referred to this as a multi-pronged approach. There are lots of different organizations that will hopefully step up to plate to be a “prong”.

We are trying to keep the ribbon with card process at this site as simple as possible.

Although I love your ideas, many here have time constraints and adding a yellow disk may discourage some. I hope you have good luck with your project and that it catches on, too. I admire you for the efforts you’ve made to launch your CAP project. I hope it will be successful in your community.

CAPmomat 17:52

ST… you misunderstood … I just browse the AFT site … I had no part of the pamphlet that they are doing … I just saw it. But, my sis-in-law & myself have been designing a flier for our own CAP program that we have put together. We’ll both be presenting it to our community ESA offices … actually she’ll be presenting it tonight at the meeting that she’s attending. Agreed … the more info out there the better and time is ticking! Those financially unable need all the time they can be offered to prep at their own financial speed! That’s what I’m worried about! Here’s the sample you requested:

CAPmomat 17:54

If anyone can delete that HUGE photo …. feel free to do so!! -k

DemFromCTat 18:03

I made it smaller. ;−0

Science Teacher – at 19:23

CAPmom, Thanks you for posting the picture! It looks great.

Good luck to your sister on tonight’s presentation and please let us know how it went.

Thanks again!

anonymous – at 00:33

I like the red ribbon and the gold p/a.

Dude – at 00:34

Sorry computer crash and lost my name too.

Nightowl – at 01:07

Hi All,

Dude - thanks for your input.

CAPMom - Thank you for all your work and input. You are much appreciated. It really helped being able to see everything. I also would really like to hear how you and your sister’s meetings turned out.

Here is some feedback. I got to thinking about just a single P and decided my friends, who line up on opposite sides of the pro- (fill in the blank) debate would think it stood for their side (eye of the beholder). I decided I didn’t want to go there, so I am voting for the gold P and A. It reinforces the Pandemic Awareness message and won’t be misunderstood by my friends of various political persuasions, nor by any stranger in the grocery store. We are Pro-Awareness!

Nightowl – at 02:27

Referring back to ST’s post at 15:15 about September being National Preparedness month. Could everyone weigh in on the ribbon and resources so we can get this finalized? I think we are at final stage 2 again.

We need to finish the card as well. Where are we? Are we going with Osterholm quote {”The worst thing…” - he needs to be contacted, as Dude pointed out, right away for courtesy) and what resources? What do you all think about CIDRAP, Flu Wiki, and a book?

Please give your input to finalize and get on with it. I am comfortable with whatever Science Teacher decides, ultimately, because it took courage to post her idea, it is work to pull it together, she knows what she’s doing from experience. But she has asked for and appreciates our feedback. Please respond, and let’s finalize tomorrow.

Thanks all.

Nightowl – at 06:01

Green mom at 08:30 on previous thread. General amnesty sounds good to me. LOL

Average Concerned Mom at 08:36, previous thread. I looked at the brochures, etc. I’m glad you pointed out that Trust For America’s Health is similar to the gov. site. So I rejected the idea. (so sad the gov. site isn’t stronger as it could be so effective)

History Lover at 12:20 - Your post was the original “courtesy to Osterholm” alert to contact him and let him know what we are doing, and I think you and Dude are right (sorry, it is getting confusing). Thanks.

AnnieB, et. al., do you see adapting the current idea for other countries? Maybe handing out your bird of paradise with it? (I love that flower and your idea - you wouldn’t believe how expensive it is here, though. Very exotic.)

From my standpoint, my overall favorite for the quote is “The worst thing…” quote from Osterholm but I am fine with adding Leavitt as second if others want that if we are not listing resources on the front.

Actually, I am fine with whatever you all want on the card. I am anxious to get started! I really do see blitzing with thousands. (A little Pandemic Awareness party with friends helping to make ribbons will come in handy to pull this off.)

Please Give Input Please Give Input Please Give Input Please Give Input

DemFromCTat 06:49

Mike Leavitt would be a great addition, IMHO. the best way to reach people is a combo of govt/nongovt sources. That’s the whole theory of Flu Wiki - we’re a complement, not a complete alternative to pandemicflu.gov, which started after we did.

Nightowl – at 07:00

Thanks for your input, Dem. What do you think about putting Osterholm first and Leavitt second?

Green Mom – at 09:54

I also like the Leavitt addition because there are so many people (and I offer up several of my relatives as an example) will not beleive in the possibility of a threat without the backing of an official (preferably) government source. I could present them with volumes of info about flu, and talk til I was hoarse but to no avail-but one sentence from a gov. agency is an entirly different thing. Drives me nuts, but, there it is.

Science Teacher – at 09:56

Nightowl, thank you for your terrific posts! I agree, it is time to move on and finalize this project.

Dem, Your statement makes good sense. We do need to encompass as many people as we can, so Mike Leavitt’s quote will be included also.

We have the Wiki, and CIDRAP for references on the back of the card. Would you like to suggest another reference?

Thansk to all of these people for their creative ideas and excellent efforts on this project: Nightowl, Dude, History Lover, Dennis, Poppy, crfullmoon, Green Mom, Dem, 2 beans, MA-Mom, Anon xyz, anonymous, Enough Already, ACM, CAP mom. Pale rider, Slainte, Sthrn Tr, AnnieB, Oremous. If I left anyone out, please add your name, too.

It is never easy to reach consensus when so many wonderful ideas are involved. Pale Riders white horse, and AnnieB’s bird/ flower of the month ideas were so good; I wish we had found a way to produce these at home.

We have decided to go with the easiest and least expensive method.

As soon as we have 1 more reference we will be ready to send this to Dude who has so graciously volunteered his business services to help us get a printable version of the card ready to download.

We are almost done with this part. Thanks to all! Let’s move forward. :)

Nightowl – at 17:31

Green Mom at 09:54 - Well said! I definitely see your point. We have come full circle back to Dennis in Colorado’s idea with the two quotes, but discussing it has made it a stronger case in my view. I think the two quotes are best. Thank you.

For resources: CIDRAP, Flu Wiki, and ????????

DemFromCTat 17:45

CIDRAP, Flu Wiki, and pandemicflu.gov in any order you want.

Science Teacher – at 17:56

Actually, after reviewing the government sites, I like avianflu.gov http://avianflu.gov/

They connect with pandemic flu .gov, but the avianflu site gets you there quickly. I haven’t been on the site for awhile and it has changed wording and become much more serious then what I remember. Click on the “Individual Planning” tab at the top, and tell us what you think.

ST

Nightowl – at 18:35

I think the government added the avian flu link for those searching that way. My view is to stick to the pandemic link as opposed to bird link. They both go to the same place, but using pandemic reinforces what we are trying to do.

I am very dismayed at the government website because they didn’t post Osterholm’s testimony and other weaknesses (only two weeks of food on the checklist). However, I pay attention and am persuaded by Dem and Green Mom’s reasoning. That is the value of discussion. It would be a shame to lose a whole swath of the public that depends on information from the government.

I am really happy that CIDRAP will be on the list (and of course, Flu Wiki). These two websites provide information that is not on the government website. I am going to trust that those who find their way through the government website will also visit the two others we have provided. I also am going to trust that people will become better educated as a result and perhaps reconsider what they prepare for.

Therefore, I vote for CIDRAP, Flu Wiki, and pandemicflu.gov in any order, as well.

Thank you to all who have taken the time to post here. I hope those lurking will come on board as well.

CAPmomat 18:53

I think that the above 3 seem to be good choices, also. In the community awareness that we will be starting up in our county, that will be one of the choices that will also be given. In the regional state summit that I attended, this summer, they advised unsing ‘one voice’ … often reinforced during the discussion. They were referring to the State Health Department’s varied departments unifying to get the same word out via various mediums, which is what you are also trying to do … via the various types of sources you are trying to offer. Having a ‘government’ based source brings on the sense of urgency along with the medical source and then the citizen source of Fluwiki. Good combination. Nice work! -k

CAPmomat 18:55

oops .. above should read ‘using’ one voice! -k (wish there was an after-post-editing feature on here … or am I missing it? -k

Nightowl – at 19:01

CAPmom at 18:53 stated: “ Having a ‘government’ based source brings on the sense of urgency along with the medical source and then the citizen source of Fluwiki. Good combination.”

Excellent points, CAPmom - Government, medical, citizen. Covering the bases.

Science Teacher – at 20:08

Nightowl, those 3 references work for me, too. The government site will provide the ‘ligitamcy’ hook needed for some people.

Do you think we are ready to put up the sample card for Dude? I have to go out for awhile but will tackle it tomorrow a.m. If you want to start tonight, Nightowl, feel free. :)

31 August 2006

Nightowl – at 02:05

I wanted to wait until the West had time for input. It is now nearly 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Looks as if the following is final (almost). :-}

Red ribbon with gold P and A for Pandemic Awareness on the strands.

Pandemic Awareness on front of card with the following two quotes underneath:

“The worst thing we can do is not prepare and think it will not happen.” Dr. Michael Osterholm, Director, Center for Infectious Disease Research & Policy, University of Minnesota

“Any community that fails to prepare, with the expectation that the federal government will come to the rescue, will be tragically wrong.” Michael Leavitt, Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

After the quotes somewhere, a note to turn the card over (for example, Information and Preparedness Resources on Back of Card or just Turn Over Card. I’m not sure what)

On the back of the card:

Non-Profit Resources (something like this)

Under title the following resources:

cidrap.umn.edu (Center for Infectious Disease Research & Policy, University of Minnesota) fluwikie.com (International, collaborative website for preparedness and information) pandemicflu.gov (U.S. Government website for information, planning and preparedness)

Whatever order you all want is fine with me. It may depend on how things look on the card. The website addresses should be double checked (I can’t seem to link to CIDRAP’s home page directly). The definitions are just an example, but I think we need them.

If Dem or Science Teacher would contact Michael Osterholm, that would be nice before a sample goes up.

Science Teacher: I can only put the words up as I am not sure how the tech part works.

Nightowl – at 02:07

The websites were supposed to be in a list. I don’t know what happened.

Science Teacher – at 11:12

Great work, Nightowl! I explored the links. The only one that doesn’t work is CIDRAP, as you said. I will repost card with new link. I am thinking that people will naturally turn card over, or we can ask them to when we hand it out (saves on print costs). I like your definitions. Good ideas! I will try to repost card.

DemFromCTat 11:21

http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/index.html is the home page.

Science Teacher – at 11:56

front of card:(picture of ribbon, right hand corner)

Pandemic Awareness

“”The worst thing we can do is not prepare and think it will not happen.”“ Dr. Michael Osterholm, Director, Center of Infectious Disease Research & Policy University of Minnnesota

“”Any community that fails to prepare, with the expectation that the government will come to the rescue, will be tragically wrong.”“ Michael Leavitt, Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

Back Side:

Please visit these non-profit websites to learn more:

Science Teacher – at 12:09

I tried to format this with the wiki editing and made a few mistakes. Back to the sandbox! Mistakes:

Front: Extra quotation marks, and ! in the title ,need to center title , tried to make quotations appear in italics

letters too large on back of card: “Please Visit…,”, need letters downsized and proportional in size. will ask for help on the ask for mods thread.

Science Teacher – at 12:32

I did not see the full address for CIDRAP that Dem posted at 11:21. I left out the http:// Could some add this if possible? Thanks!

CAPmomat 13:53

I hope you don’t mind … I did a quick work up of the ideas noted above to make a visual for you to see. -k

CAPmomat 13:56

Sorry … I should have put more info … the card is based on a bsns. card size: 3.5 x 1.75. Actually, I just held an actual bsns. card up to the screen and this is pretty much the size — what you see. To get both quotes & references, print does have to be small. Don’t know if this is what you are after, but hope it helps you all to work on it! -k

CAPmomat 13:57

also .. forgot to put in the quotation marks … ooops! -k

Science Teacher – at 14:03

WOW, CAPmom, Thanks for jumping in! It is missing a few quotation marks but otherwise looks great. :) Dude said he would play around with it, too.

We really appreciate your help on this.

Would others like to comment?

anon_22 – at 15:02

Comment? I have been reading this thread on and off but didn’t have time to jump in, so I might have missed something along the way. I think it’s great, what you’re doing.

I just suddenly realized that the word ‘influenza’ does not appear anywhere. Is there a special reason for that that I missed?

Otherwise, its great! Thank you!

Nightowl – at 15:09

We are so lucky to have you at Flu Wiki, CAPmom! Could we see what the letters look like straight up and down? (old eyes)

Nightowl – at 15:12

Yikes - You’re right, anon_22. What do we do now folks?

anon_22 – at 15:12
anon_22 – at 15:14

Enlarged version above.

Science Teacher – at 15:28

anon 22 at 15:02, Yikes! “Influenza” is a critical word to have left out. That saying, ‘you can’t see the forest for the trees’ comes to mind. That is why we need input from others that are not all looking at this so closely each day.

Everyone, where to put the word “Influenza” in without changing our P,A letters on the ribbon?

How about in black letters placed above “Pandemic Awareness?

Also, what about adding a small arrow at bottom of front ( so people to look at this. CAPMom, will changes fit on card?

anon_22 – at 15:33

Can you put the word FLU across the top of the red ribbon so it becomes part of the design but also runs into ‘pandemic awareness’? Just a thought.

DemFromCTat 15:46

Has anyone contacted Dr. Osterholm?

Science Teacher – at 16:04

Annon 22, Shortening the word to FLU might work on the card ribbon spacewise but I am having difficulty ‘seeing’ your design (I find it hard to work without visuals cuing me). Actually printing the word Flu on the real ribbon might disourage those do-it-your-selfers. I wish we had a millionaire on board to offer to fund this and print the ribbons and cards at no cost (I can dream, can’t I?). Dude has a graphic designer he has offered us some use of. Perhaps if you describe what you mean to him he might “Get” your idea (which sounds like a good one).

Bronco Bill – at 16:07

How about stacking the letters F L U from the upper left towards the lower right in black letters on the ribbon?

Stacking =
F
L
U

Science Teacher – at 16:08

Dem, I will Email him at CIDRAP. I thought I would wait until I have the finished project so that I can do an attachment of it to the email I send him. Does this sound OK?

anon_22 – at 16:30

I was thinking the word FLU just for the card, not for the ribbon.

I’ve been playing around and this is what I got. I defer to everyone else who have spent so much time on this. :-)

Bronco Bill – at 16:56

anon_22 – at 16:30 --- I like that idea. A caveat here though: you now have 4 colors on the card, and the more colors, the higher the printing cost. Especially color overlays…

Nightowl – at 16:57

Hi all,

Thanks Anon_22. Is it possible for you to take the italics off just to see what the words look like without it?

Nightowl – at 17:01

Also to keep a business size card? I am trying to visualize the real deal. I appreciate your enlarging it but I was just trying to see the words in regular print in the regular business size card. Italics are hard to read. Thanks. If CAPmom catches this perhaps she can do it.

Nightowl – at 17:10

Dennis in Colorado - Where are you?

anon_22 – at 17:11

BBB,

I didn’t know what colors or software was used to create the original, so I just put in something that looked similar. It’s better to stay with fewer colors as you said.

Nightowl, what programme was the original done in? I could only try it out in Word but I’m sure you can do something similar with whatever you guys were working with. I just wanted to put it up for brainstorming and not as an actual product. :-)

Science Teacher – at 17:46

anon22, thanks for letting us ‘see’ the card on your link, it looks great!

I hadn’t thought of it, but BB is right. The costs of doing an overlay of the ribbon will really add up.

Does this mean we will need to keep it down cost-wise to a card with 3 colors (Red, Gold and black) with perhaps a smaller ribbon pic.in the corner? I would hate to lose your idea of the card, it looks superb.

Can anyone talk to a print site and get estimates.? Dennis referred us to one earlier and said he would do an upload to a site he uses for inexpensive printing.

CAPmom, could you please tell Anon 22 which print program you were using when you did your card?

Need Dennis or Dude – at 17:48

please read above. We are seeking your advice. thanks!

ST

anon_22 – at 17:58

Nightowl,

Italics are hard to read.

That’s also something to consider, if you haven’t gotten too far down the design process. People with reading problems generally find italics most challenging, ALL CAPS best, normal print somewhere in between.

Also, what are your plans for printing? You can buy business card printing paper that comes in a sheet and print your own. Is that feasible? I’m just thinking then if you put up the final design at Dude’s ftp site, then anybody can download and print their own.

anon_22 – at 17:59

If you use your own printer, then you can have any number of colors. At the risk of stating the obvious. :-)

Nightowl – at 18:01

I only have a black and white printer. I was going to run to the print shop with something easy. :-)

anon_22 – at 18:04

I just searched ebay for business card paper and got 46 results

Dennis in Colorado – at 18:15

I think it was DennisC who had access to an online upload to a printer, not me. I only made the suggestion about having a headline in bold red “Influenza Pandemic Awareness” and then the two quotes from Osterholm and Levitt. My verson was text only, no red ribbon image.

I do agree, though, about the caution against gold printing if it is at all possible to avoid it. Metallic gold & silver inks are more expensive than regular inks, and 3 color is more expensive than 2 color (obviously).

Nightowl – at 18:18

I guess I am the advocate for the “keep it simple.” Normal print. No italics. (All caps is hard to read for the rest of us.) As much white space as we can (no need for squiggles between quotes). ST’s little arrow in the right hand corner to turn it over.

If we have to order paper, or order the cards, send money, etc, the project will be restricted to the few.

BTW, I do like the ribbon on the card because it links it to what people see us wearing.

If I can just take a cd or disc to the print shop, I will be thrilled.

I would work the word ‘influenza’ into the back of the card somewhere in black.

CAPmomat 18:31

Hello … just reading all these posts, now. I’m working up a revision … I use ‘Photoshop’ for my program and then I save it as a JPG file and upload that to ‘Photobucket’ and then upload that to here. -k

anonymous – at 18:34

Annon 22, I’ll be using my home computer. The blank business cards are affordable. Some folks will send the download to a printshop. Maybe we should just stay with your card idea? It sure works for me.

Annon 22, in the previous thread Dude volunteered his site to create the card and make it easily downloadable to anyone on the wiki. He also said he would have his graphic designer play with it to ‘tweak’ it. He has volunteered his site and time to help us . That is what I have found so great about this wiki, the way people jump in and help.

Annon 22, Would be able to post your design here again after reworking it with print, no italics, correct quotation marks in place and arrow at the bottom ? also a sample of what the back might look like if this is possible and not too big a job to do. Thanks so much for joining our efforts on this!

anonymous – at 18:39

Dennis in Colo, what do you mean “I only suggested..”. You contributed a lot and we ran with your good ideas. :) Thankyou!

Science Teacher – at 18:41

anonymous 2x was me, ST I forgot to reenter my name.

CAPmomat 18:48

oke … here you go … revision with regular type and I added flu in the main title. That keeps the color the same. (You could always change the ‘P’ ‘A’ to black to keep it 2-colors, if # of colors is a concern. But it won’t ‘pop’ as much as the golden. It’s Arial font, size 8 … tiny … pretty much what you see is what you get in actual size, even on the screen here (I put up an actual business card and it fits almost perfectly!) Have to go so tiny to fit two (2) quotes on the front of a 3″x 1.75″ business card. You’ll run into the same problem on the back. Hope this helps! -khttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l181/photos-2-share/BusinessCard-front2.jpg

CAPmomat 18:50
CAPmomat 18:50

that’s better! -k

CAPmomat 18:52

sorry … print is so small, I missed a typo in Osterholm’s name. S/B capital ‘O’. :{

anon_22 – at 18:55

Cool!

Nightowl – at 18:59

OK, CAPmom to the rescue! CAPmom could you try blocking the quotes and taking out the squiggles between them? Just a blank line between? Also cap on Osterholm’s name. Is the font Ariel? Thanks, would just like to see it and I appreciate what you are doing.

Nightowl – at 19:19

Oops - Ariel should be Arial.

CAPmomat 19:21

your welcome! I’m just trying to help out those who need a visual. Dude can take it from there, when you all get your design concepts together. I put the squiggles in there ‘cause it’s so small and squished together, It’s hard to tell where one stops and the other starts. No much space between. yes - font is Ariel. Nice and clear (this small never seems clear to me though! Here’s the back for you … again lots of info you want on there … so it’s packed pretty tight! But at least you can all see it and make better decisions what you want Dude to do! DD is begging me to take our dog for a walk … I’ll check in, in a bit to see if you want any visual tweaks to this! -k

Science Teacher – at 19:23

CAPmom, you have done an awesome job! Thanks!

CAPmomat 19:23

DD was bugging me for that walk … I see several typos … but this is just a general overlook for you. -k

Nightowl – at 19:25

Ought oh - Center of Infectious…. should be Center for (CIDRAP)

Nightowl – at 19:27

My post went between others. Center for….in front of card.

Science Teacher – at 19:40

I am getting excited… the end is in sight!

CAPmomat 19:47

Here’s front w/ Osterholm’s name capitalized and ‘for’ in lieu of ‘of’ for CIDRAP. -khttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l181/photos-2-share/BusinessCard-front2–1.jpg

CAPmomat 19:47
anon_22 – at 19:48

WOW! Good job!

Dude – at 19:56

Hi all! Great work, it is hard to work by committee and on a wiki site with sandbox and all. And many of you say you do not have computer skills…job well done. This thread is positive and constructive and has a healthy tone to it. Nice people working together to get a job done. Thank you. If you want to send me files as work to date, that would help us. So, use word or photoshop and we will deal. dudeatsingtomeohmuse.com

OK, we pick up the design from what you have here and work with it. I anticipate a suggested tweak on layout to be done this weekend. So, about Monday (I have to ck with her on her schedule) I will have a file available for download at the FTP site only for the purpose of final feedback i.e. download it put it in say word and have a look at the card. This way we see the card without any wiki size or font issues. I will also post it. I also can have an adobe file once we are done. It will be able to be printed on standard business cards in a home printer. The printers that we pay locally can all work with a Photoshop file. We can work out those details later.

Science Teacher – at 19:58

anon 22, should we have Dem look at this before we upload it to Dude?

CAPmomat 19:59

Oke … I’ll send both files if everyone else is in agreement with that! I think having something directly in front of them on the screen made it easier to get this done by all. -k

Science Teacher – at 20:02

Thanks, Dude!

Now, who can figure out how to do an upload? (Front and back)

Dude – at 20:05

I do the upload, you just send me an email with the attachment. Grin.

Science Teacher – at 20:06

Sorry, CAPmom, our posts crossed. Thanks you so much for volunteering to do this. Your help on this thread has been invaluable!

CAPmomat 20:11

No problem. :)

Nightowl – at 20:22

CAPmom - You’re wonderful. It has been fantastic to have your visual help. From the beginning of your first design post today (not to mention the other days) at 13:53 all the way to your post at the back of the card, you have enabled those of us who need visuals to see this card start to come together. You have made it so easy for Dude and his crew to finish the layout and produce a downloadable file. We could not have gotten to this point without you. Thank you so much.

Anon_22 - What would we do without you. Thank you for joining the thread and your input. (Can you believe we forgot to mention flu?)

Dude - what a wonderful contribution you are making. Thank you.

OK, Science Teacher, you should be proud of what you have started with your idea for this campaign. I think it is going to fly!

Oh, and CAPmom, I believe you are the one who suggested carrying the idea of the ribbon onto the card. You were posting under ‘anonymous’ at the time. It is such a wonderful idea, and your visuals really helped me to see that. I just wanted to give you a special thanks.
